Spring has sprung and news has changed. Hello to all of our friends and family. 

We had a very nice winter. Not to long but still a couple of snowfalls so we could appreciate the beauty of winter. Now it is spring heading towards summer and with our weather I am reminded why we moved to the beautiful state. It is an amazing display of creation to watch all of the plants come to life with their new blooms and growth, reminding us that everything comes to an end and the new emerges in our lives. 

The news:

Jim has retired from Crossroads fire department and is looking to go to new Prospect. This is a more professional department with also houses the Rapid water rescue. He is looking forward to this upward change. He is leaving for a visit to those who live in Florida and is looking forward to seeing everyone there. 

Erin is coming to the end of her school year and is very involved in Cheerleading tryouts. She is finding new friends and experiences with the tryouts. She is working hard and has very sore muscles but she is learning that she is  a hardworking and talented girl whose cheerful personality is a benefit to her connecting with new people.

Michael is growing in leaps and bounds. He will be 3 in a couple of months and is now acting more 3 than the terrible 2's. He is learning to speak very quickly and is starting to fill our lives will new conversations. He is also making new friends and is developing socially very well. He loves Erin's new Cheerleading friends as he has always loved being around pretty girls. Now he is in heaven having attention from a whole squad. 

As for myself our home location may have changed but my life itself is still basically the same. I'm still working with JD Web Design and love that as a creative outlet, but it requires very little time. Setting up a new home is always fun but even that didn't take very login. I am making new friends and getting more involved in the community. This move has brought a lot of peace in my life. We have an amazing view from our home of a beautiful park that runs a long a river. Just taking in the view is a meditative practice that brings peace to my spirit.
